Lori Birkbeck is an artist, photographer & graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. She completed her BFA from OCAD University and her award winning artwork has been shown in Canada and Japan.

Focusing on capturing the elusive, ephemeral aspects of memories and nostalgia, she prints her images onto sheer fabric and other materials. Arranging the images in layers and combining different memories together blurs and alters the work. In our fast-paced lives moments that become unnoticed are paused in time. Transitory memories are preserved in sheer fabric, paintings and photographs.
